The Boston Town Hall will take place Sept. 28, 6 to 8 p.m., in the Sherman Function Hall of the Hassenfeld Conference Center of Brandeis University, 415 South St. The event will feature Thomas Simons, former ambassador to Pakistan; Julian Hollick, award-winning producer and writer; David Gil, Brandeis professor; Olga Davidson, adjunct professor, Women's Studies, Brandeis; and Elinor Stout, director, Families of September 11.

The Boston Town Hall is one of more than 30 taking place across the country-from Macon, Ga., to Vermillion, S.D., commemorating the third anniversary of September 11 and to respond to the recently released 9/11 Commission report, which stresses that the U.S. must share Americas vision of opportunity and hope with the Muslim world. The series, called "Hope not Hate," features 9/11 family members and a bi-partisan coalition of congresspersons, ambassadors, and scholars. See www.hopenothate.org for more information.
