The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay will host its fourth annual Phoenix Forum today in the University Union.

The goal of the forum, which will focus on global citizenship, is to encourage civil discussion of important — but sometimes contentious or controversial — political and social topics.

Seth Green, president of the nonpartisan Americans for Informed Democracy organization, will be the guest speaker for the event. Sessions will begin at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the forum, which will be led by students.

The Phoenix Forum is organized by UWGB's public and nonprofit management class.
